I have numerous chronic illnesses and IBS-C is one of them. I have been on prescription medication to help with it for like 5 years. Not to be TMI, but I know others need to understand the reality of the rescue drops support in my particular case. Using the prescription medication for these 5 years, I would be lucky to have a day of repetitive "emptying" every 5 days or so. I added drinking Ka'Chava shakes in the mornings as I'm hypoglycemic and need to eat something early in the day but one or more of my meds kills all appetite for the first chunk of my day. The Ka'Chava shakes working with my prescription medication would provide for a BM or day of emptying every 3 to 5 days. But adding the rescue drops, I was first shocked to learn how much my body had been holding inside for how it was clearing out the first like 4 days, but where I thought the idea of having a daily BM was a myth for me, I was shocked that I had a BM for 14 days straight! I finally missed one day but it's resumed basically daily since. I no longer often look like I'm 6 months pregnant because of gut bloating and I don't feel so toxic or off in my body as I was feeling for so long. Grateful!
