Magnesium For Sleep Support
I’ve been down the rabbit hole since my annual checkup in August. My homocysteine was elevated and several Bs low. I then discovered I’m heterozygous for C677T MTHFR snp. I’ve continued taking the Omega 3 & D3+K2 my Dr. recommended the year prior and added methylfolate (B9). I’ve been dealing with body pain for 2 years and it absolutely disrupted my sleep patterns. Prior to this I have always been a very good sleeper. A MTHFR group I follow has a participant who has worked with many autoimmune patients for decades. They like to recommend supporting pathways first rather than forcing nutrients through. As the B9 made my brain run on overdrive and disrupt my sleep further I decided to try this different approach. I started with a whole foods vitamin C first and noticed mental clarity returning after four days. After a month to monitor any side effects I was ready to add a magnesium. I selected Buoy. I’ve read and heard good things about the drops from people who need the electrolytes and was willing to try their whole foods magnesium. I also like they are independently owned. The price is steep for a month supply and honestly I didn’t do my due diligence in researching other options I was willing to try.
