How To Use
Rainforest Reds & Rainforest Activated Magnesium
Add 1 serving to any food or beverage, or add directly to your tongue and follow with water.

Rainforest Reds & Rainforest Activated Magnesium won’t fully dissolve—and that’s a good thing!
Keep hot drinks below 175°F to avoid nutrient loss.
Rainforest Defense Mist
Use Rainforest Defense Mist as a mouth spray, facial mist, blemish spot treatment, daily skin protector, or even fruit wash.
Avoid dairy with Rainforest Reds—it contains a protein that binds to live antioxidants, reducing the nutrients you absorb.Dairy contains a protein that binds to live antioxidants reducing the nutrients you absorb.
Why The High Price Point
Wild foods are rare for a reason: they’re 5–10x more expensive to produce, which doesn’t exactly add up for most businesses.

Our 'No' List
No Added Sugar
  • Inflammatory
Spikes glucose and insulin, feeds harmful gut bacteria, contributes to glycation of proteins

  • Dehydration
Too much can dehydrate cells by creating osmotic imbalance
No Sweeteners
  • Artificial
Disrupts gut microbiome, may trigger insulin response despite zero calorie, associated with metabolic issues in studies

  • Naturally-derived sweeteners
Can trigger insulin response and blood sugar changes, highly processed despite “natural” origins, digestive disruption (especially sugar alcohols)
No Flavors
  • Artificial flavors
Contain petroleum-derived chemicals and neurotoxic compounds, headache and allergen trigger, hidden preservatives and solvents

  • ‘Natural’ flavors
Can legally contain 100+ undisclosed ingredients, may contain solvents and preservatives, hidden allergens and inflammatory compounds/li>
No Additives
  • Carriers (like maltodextrin), blending agents, & others
Create intestinal permeability ("leaky gut"), often contain hidden allergens, interfere with nutrient absorption

  • Coloring agents & dyes
Linked to hyperactivity and behavioral issues, many derived from petroleum or coal tar, associated with allergic reactions, some classified as carcinogens
No Heat Processing or Chemical Spraying
  • Nutrient disruption
Destroys enzymes and heat-sensitive vitamins, denatures proteins and beneficial compounds, strips away natural cofactors needed for absorption

  • Inflammatory byproducts
Creates inflammatory compounds (AGEs), Chemical residues accumulate in body
No Lab-Manufactured Isolates
  • Poor bioavailability
Poor bioavailability (10-30% vs 90%+ for whole foods), missing cofactors required for utilization

  • Overdosing
Can create imbalances by flooding single pathways

  • Inflammatory byproducts
    Often contaminated with synthesis residues
No Animal Byproducts
  • Hidden ingredients
May contain hormones and antibiotics, often from diseased or low-quality sources

The Nutrients Your Multivitamin Forgot
The Nutrients Your Multivitamin Forgot
More than a supplement. It's a full matrix of wild-harvested, whole food-bound vitamins, minerals, enzymes, pre- and probiotics, and adaptogens from one of Earth’s most nutrient-dense ecosystems.

8,000+ Bioactive Phytonutrients

An exceptionally high concentration of phytonutrients, including rare stress-induced polyphenols, polysaccharides, terpenes, flavonoids, anthocyanins, and phenolic acids that you can’t find at a farmer’s market.

97% Nutrient Density Preservation

You’re getting nearly the full spectrum of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients as they exist in nature and not degraded by heat, oxidation, or processing. Lyophilization ensures the compounds that support energy, immunity, cognition, and cellular health are intact, active, and bioavailable, just as your body was designed to use them.

Whole Food-Bound Form

Including the pith, stem, core, pulp, and peel to preserve the nutrient delivery’s delicate plant matrices of cofactor compounds that work synergistically for absorption and utilization.

Wild-Harvested (Not Farmed)

Across dozens of peer-reviewed studies comparing wild to domesticated varieties (fruit, herbs, greens, roots), researchers consistently find up to 90% drop in total phytonutrient concentration, less variety of phytonutrient types, and loss of stress-induced compounds in farmed produce.

Nature’s Most Advanced Nutrient Complex
Rainforest wild foods deliver a rare array of bioactive nutrients only found in wild rainforest ecosystems. Grown without human interference and harvested to retain a complexity of nutrients for deeper nutrition than even the best organic produce.

33 Australian Rainforest Wild Foods
Kakadu Plum
The world’s highest fruit source of vitamin C capacity with hundreds of bioflavonoids and folates, fat soluble vitamins E and D, other vitamins and co-factors, minerals like magnesium, that ensure vitamin C is properly absorbed and used.
Davidson Plum
A healthy serving of crimson red anthocyanin antioxidants and organic acids.
Riberry
Packed with anthocyanins and organic acids—nourishes skin, microbiome, and immune system.
Anise Myrtle
Aromatics of anise and lemon myrtle together appear to enhance memory, mental sharpness, learning and cognitive health in total. Its leaves are high in beta-carotenes which get converted into vitamin A in our body.

Wild Rosella (Hibiscus)
Rich in hibiscus acid and anthocyanins—supports heart health and metabolic function.
Illawarra Plum
Loaded with anthocyanin antioxidants, the Illawarra orBrown pine plum also delivers sticky sugars or mucopolysaccharides. More recently anti-rogue cell benefits have been postulated for this delicious fruit.
+26 Other Australian Rainforest Wild Foods
Rainforest Lime, Lemon Myrtle, Acacia Resin, Forestberry Herb, Wildcrafted Acacia Gum, Mountain Pepper, Sea Vegetable, Pepperberry, Blackcurrant Pomace, Coconut Milk (casein-free), Wild Blueberries, Blackberry, Trehalose, Apple Fiber, Pineapple Core (bromelain), Black Pepper (piperine), Shiitake Mushrooms (light-activated), Anise Myrtle, Sunflower Seed Meal, Pumpkin Seed Meal, Quillaja Bark, Peppermint, Pine Needles, Rosemary, Star Anise, Wild Citrus
Whole Food-Bound Form (Peel, Pulp, Pith, Core, and Stem)
Lyophilization preserves the complete cellular structure of whole foods, including natural fibers and plant matrices that are inherently insoluble in water—just like eating actual fruits, roots, and vegetables straight from the rainforest.
✓ Preserved Nutrient Complexity
Nature concentrates different nutrients throughout the whole plant: peels concentrate protective antioxidants, stems deliver mineral-rich vascular compounds, pulp provides enzyme-activated vitamins, pith offers bioflavonoids that amplify absorption, and cores house seeds with essential fatty acids and trace minerals.
✓ Natural Fiber Benefits
The insoluble plant fibers support digestive health, feed beneficial gut bacteria, and help regulate blood sugar by slowing nutrient absorption—benefits lost in extracted, fully dissolved supplements.
✓ Whole Food Synergy
Keeping the food matrix intact preserves the natural synergy between vitamins, minerals, and phytocompounds that work together for optimal absorption and utilization.
✓ Gentle Processing Indicator
Products that don't fully dissolve indicate minimal processing, rather than chemically extracted, heated, or artificially modified to increase solubility.
✓ Extended Nutrient Release
The partially insoluble nature creates a time-release effect, providing sustained nutrient delivery rather than a single spike from instantly dissolved extracts.
Our “No” List
No Synthetic Isolates
Protein supplements, electrolyte mixes, and powdered supplements often rely on synthetic, isolated nutrients because they’re cheaper, easier to dose, and more stable. These isolates achieve poor absorption and may block other nutrient intake, overburden your liver, and disrupt your microbiome and metabolic balance.
No Food Fragments
Food isolates or “fragments” are single nutrients or compounds extracted from their original whole food source, like lycopene from tomatoes or curcumin from turmeric. Doing so destroys the synergistic matrix that makes these nutrients bioactive and can deliver unnaturally high doses of single compounds.
No Heat Processing or Chemical Spraying
Most supplement powders are heat-processed or chemically extracted, destroying delicate plant compounds and creating inflammatory AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products) and acrylamides in the process. Chemical spraying uses processing aids that leave residue on ingredients, contain higher glycemic indexes than sugar, and can account for up to 40% of the final product’s weight.
No Added Sugars, Sweeteners, or Flavors
‘Natural flavors’ can contain up to 3,000 chemicals legally hidden under the catch-all term (including MSG derivatives and excitotoxins). These taste masking agents can create coating barriers that reduce nutrient intake by up to 30%, disrupt metabolic processes, spike insulin, and undermine your health goals.
No Food Additives (Blending, Mixing, Binding Agents)
Enjoying that smooth, even finish? That’s likely a food agent, found in everything from powders to oat milk to optimize for taste and texture. Food additives, even the organic ones, can create barriers between nutrients and intestinal walls, reducing absorption by up to 30% while often containing hidden allergens and toxins like maltodextrin, soy lecithin, and cellulose derivatives that trigger inflammatory responses in sensitive individuals.
FAQs
What makes wild foods different from farmed or organic produce?
In wild ecosystems like the rainforest, plants are exposed to natural stressors that trigger a higher production of antioxidants, polyphenols, and protective compounds. These stress-adapted nutrients are more complex, more bioactive, and far more potent than anything grown on cultivated soil, including organic.
How is this different from a supplement or greens powder?
The complexity of wild food nutrition can’t be packed into a capsule. Most supplements use isolated nutrients. Rainforest Wild Foods preserve the full nutritional matrix through wild harvesting and lyophilization, which locks in 97% of their nutrient density.
How should I use it?
For Reds or Activated Magnesium, add 1 serving: • Into water or your favorite beverage (12–16oz) • Over food like fruit bowls, overnight oats, or toast • Straight to your tongue, followed by a sip of water to swish and swallow Note: Whole-food powders may not fully dissolve. Tiny plant fibers or suspended particles are proof you’re drinking real wild food, not lab dust. ———— For Defense Mist, spray into your mouth, swish and then swallow. Apply topically to blemishes, cuts, abrasions, rashes, scrapes and dry skin.
What does it taste like?
Reds tastes like what it is: real fruits, seeds, herbs, and roots. Earthy, tart, and alive. Magnesium tastes like what it is earthy, mineral-rich superfoods with an umami finish. You may not notice a taste with Mist but rather an aromatic smell of pine and rosemary.
Why doesn’t it fully dissolve?
Real food doesn’t behave like lab-made powders. Tiny plant fibers and food actives may remain suspended, which is proof that you're drinking wild, nutrient-dense ingredients, not synthetic dust.
How are you protecting the Rainforest?
We sustainably hand-harvest fruits, roots and herbs by indigenous land carers in limited, small-batch quantities. No harvesting harms the plants or removes any part of the forest—oftentimes, these fruits, roots and herbs will go unpicked. We partner with local community leaders and donate to the Australian Rainforest nonprofit Rainforest Rescue with every order to protect the forest from commercial agriculture that does remove acreage.

Convenient and tasty

I often work long days with an hour commute each way. I don't have a lot of time between classes to eat healthy. So when I get home, I make myself a mug of the rainforest activated magnesium. It helps me fall asleep, it helps me stay steady in the evening when stress feels like it's going to peak. And the bonuses it tastes good.

Definitely improved digestion but would be tough to consume on the go

I'd recommend mixing with a smoothie as just with water is a little tough to drink, but I did see an improvement as a result
